The preacher was stringing together his words beautifully. Drew, staring into Logan’s eyes and her staring right back into his. With grins on their faces and excitement radiating from their movements, it was dark. The clouds were slowly moving in. It was raining all around them – over the mountains for miles – but somehow, there wasn’t a drop hitting them. As the ceremony approached an end, the preacher finished his words: “ I now pronounce you husband and wife.” And BOOM. A loud thunder resounded and echoed in that very moment. Tears falling from family and friends’ faces, including mine. The preacher finished, “Drew, you may kiss your bride.” With a sweet kiss and cheering, you could feel the love and it was evident: they were meant to be.
WOW. I am not even kidding when I say that the thunder pronounced Drew and Logan husband and wife. We were waiting for it to rain ALL day long, but that didn’t stop Drew and Logan from their mountain top ceremony. Throughout the ceremony, it was dry, yet you could see the rain everywhere. When that thunder hit, it was so evident that the Lord was on their side. It is so obvious to me that Drew and Logan are in love and that the Lord is right at the center of that love. His presence was all around us that day and I feel honored to have witnessed such a beautiful moment. These two are made for each other and I had so much fun capturing their special day. I am so excited to share their images with you!
